Straighten a Picture in Photoshop

Every now and then you may want to straighten some of your images. All editing softwares offer this tool, but Photoshop and Photoshop Elements have the most user friendly options.

In this little tutorial I am going to show how to straighten horizon in your photos. There are more in Straighten tool that we will discus them in our Intro to Layers in Photoshop class.

In this tutorial I used Photoshop CS but you have the same adjustment in Elements as well!

1- Open and image in Photoshop

2-First thing first! Duplicate the Layer

3- Go to Tool Menu and select the Ruler Tool

4- Go to View>Show>Grid To make the Grin Visible on your photo

5- With the Ruler Tool is selected draw a straight line across your picture

6- At tho top Menu Bar find the Straight Button and Click on it

7- Job is done at no time!
