BEST COMPOSITION

Making the Best Composition

“Making the Best Composition” is one of the frequently asked questions. Although there is no clear guideline to answer this question, I will clarify some useful tips.

Loose Composition is the Best

Generally speaking, a loose composition provides the benefit to correct any possible errors in photos. In a tight frame, you cannot fix or redesign the image. Here are a few reasons for you:

Sensors Size

Most new digital cameras have a decent sensor size. It means that they produce large images. In many cases, if you crop the photo, you still have enough data to print a large size picture.

Why Shooting Loose

I discuss the benefit of loose composition in two categories:

The Art of Best Composition

You can tell a complete story in Wildlife and Sports photography by having more of the surrounding area.

On the other note, in Landscape and Portrait photography, a loose composition provides enough picture areas to fix minor composition errors, such as setting the horizon straight or applying the correct off-centre design.

The Social Media

We all share our pictures on social media. However, each platform requires a different format. For instance, Instagram prefers a square format, and Facebook requires specific dimensions.

A loose-composed image allows you to meet these various requirements without missing essential parts of photos.
