Wednesday Photography Tips: Spider Web

Stunning Spider Web Photography Tips

Spider webs are beautiful; the symmetrical shapes and geometry aspects are mesmerizing. However, when it comes to spider web photography, it takes work. The thin transparent strings are almost invisible. After all, they are the primary purpose of the spider web, being invisible. These features make taking good pictures of a great spider web very challenging.

Monday’s Camera Tip: PANNING TIPS

Two Notes for Successful Panning Techniques

Using slow shutter speed makes the moving subjects blurry and the static ones clear. What if you want the moving subjects clear and static elements blurry?

Here come Panning Techniques to save the day!

What is Panning?

Generally speaking, Panning means using a slower shutter speed while tracking a moving subject to make the fixed elements blurry. Therefore, the moving object stays clear, and the background turns blurry.

Panning Techniques

Panning
Using the Panning Techniques allows you to make the moving subject clear and the background blurry.

Here are two notes for successful Panning photography:

Note One: The speed at which you are panning your camera should MATCH the speed at which the subject passes through the scene. Start following the subject when it’s off in the distance, follow it as it passes you, and continue to follow even once it’s gone by (you should follow through, like in sports).

And press the shutter release button only when the subject is parallel to your camera. That way, your subject remains in focus while you get perfect motion blur in the background.

Note Two: To achieve focused images, you must use Continuous Autofocus to track the subject.

That is all for now.

Monday’s Camera Tip: FULL MOON PHOTOGRAPHY

FULL MOON PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

Capturing full moon pictures may not be as easy as it seems!

When you take full moon images, you may often end up with a white circle in your pictures rather than the full moon.

Full Moon Photography Tips

Here are a few tips that make it effortless.
1. First, you need to mount your camera on a tripod to ensure that you get an image without blur, no matter what settings you use. It will also help with the following two tips.
2. Choose a long lens (at least a 200mm telephoto). It is why photos taken by your phone may make the moon look like a tiny lightbulb.
3. Use the lowest possible ISO to avoid digital noise.
4. Remember that the moon is very BRIGHT. Using the Spot metering provides the correct exposure for the moon brightness.

Thursday Portrait Photography Tips: FOCUS ON EYES

Focus on Eyes is the Key

There are many rules in Portrait photography, and I try to explain a few of them in my posts. Follow us for more tips!

The eyes are the windows to the soul and the most crucial element among all portrait photography tips. Unless your subject’s eyes are hidden from the camera, they must be razor-sharp. Otherwise, the image will suffer – no matter how on-point its lighting and composition are.

Focus on the eyes

Focus on the eyes is an important key for a successful photography

How to Focus on Eyes?

There are two methods to lock the focus on the model’s eyes:

1- Move the focusing point and set it over the eye.

2- If you don’t want to move the focusing point in single focus mode, focus in the eye, hold the focus button and recompose the frame.

Rules for Successful Portrait Photography

We offer many tips in our Portrait Photography Courses that take your photography to the next level.

Our next portrait and model photography workshop starts on September 15, 2022. It is a three-part class and all hands-on skills.

Many believe that opportunities for landscape photography end once the sun sets for the day.

But for those who know the proper techniques, landscape photography opportunities are always present, regardless of the time. For successful night photography, you need to learn how to set up your camera, measure the exposure, identify distracting elements and how to avoid them, and many more.
A professional educator can make learning photography full of fun!

Testimony Tuesday: MOTIVATING TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER

Education Makes You a Talented Photographer

Even the most advanced digital cameras are tools with no brain or creativity! Learn your camera and be a gifted photographer.

As a photographer, beginner or advanced, you have a vision you want to showcase. The camera’s automatic settings cannot make you a gifted photographer, but a comprehensive photography class can.

Omnilargess Photography Classes have assisted many talented photographers in mastering the art of photography since 2005. Join our workshop and discover your artistic talent.

Glenda Kavolinas started showing her talent after taking our Photography Bootcamp Program! Now, she visions beautiful images and captures them.

Here are a few pictures that she took during the Portrait Photography Program.

I want to invite you to visit our Students Photogallery page to see more of his fabulous pictures. Click HERE to go to Students’ Photogallery.
