Camera’s Essential Accessories: ND Filters
In this series of posts, I will cover a few inexpensive yet vital add-ons for better photography. In this article, I look into ND Filters.
Generally speaking, ND filters are just like Sunglasses for your lens! They reduce light intensity and allow you to shoot at a slower shutter speed or wider aperture.
The light was too bright in the first image, and I couldn’t slow down the shutter speed enough.
By using an ND filter, I was able to reduce the shutter speed to 5 seconds. Here is a fabulous photo of a waterfall! Thanks to the humble ND filter.
