According to above definition, a portraiture should showcasing the personality of the subject. That describes why some portraitures are more eye-catching than the others. As a photographer you must consider many different elements to achieve success in portrait photography. In these series of articles I am going to discuss them into two main categories; Technical Aspects and Artistic Approach.
Camera Settings, Lens Selection, and Light are the main technical parts. I am going to discuss in camera settings such as selecting shutter speed, aperture, ISO, how to select a lens for better result. On the other note, Light is the most important part of any kind of photography, I will also cover Natural Light Portrait photography tips, as well as covering the techniques on Flash and Studio settings.
