Camera Manufacturers False Claim or Marketing Tool

Each year there are many new cameras in the market, and each time camera manufacturers claim that their new camera will change the photography industry! Is it just a false claim or camera manufacturers use it as their powerful marketing tool?

In this article, I am going to show you that a camera is just a tool. Therefore, like other trades, tools make finishing the job faster and easier.

In all these years of Digital Photography, I took thousands of digital images using different levels of cameras. Ergo, in my picture library, I have photos from low resolution and or entry-level cameras. Many of those pictures are fantastic. Here are two samples:[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”23139″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Olympus C4000Z”][vc_column_text]I took the above photo using an Olympus C4000Z camera. It was a 4 MP point and shoot camera. However, it had lots of controls and settings. I set the exposure manually and composed the image. A perfect shot![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”23140″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Nikon D50″][vc_column_text]I took the above photo using a Nikon D50. Nikon D50 was an entry-level DSLR and only 6MP. However, it had all the manual controls that a photographer may need. Once again, a correct Exposure and Composition result in the perfect picture. After all, it was an ideal camera, but very slow in some aspects.

Generally speaking, the newer cameras provide faster and improved techniques; however, the older cameras are capable of capturing eye-catching photos.

What do you need to take better photographs?

Don’t let the manufacturers marketing tool mislead you. Regardless of how old or new, or entry-level or advanced the camera you use, you need to learn photography techniques. Below is the list of our upcoming Photography Classes. Check them out and register for the ones that match your needs and schedules.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”22661″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Good Techniques, Great Photos”][vc_column_text]
