Tired of the same old snapshots? Looking for some simple tips to add that wow factor to your images? Come for a special, two part class covering how to set up your camera, choose the right equipment, frame and pose your subject, and more!
Your instructor will start you off with the basics of your camera, equipment, and framing in the first part of this class. Then will follow with some tips, suggestions, and a chance for you to ask questions. There will be a couple weeks for you to practice what you have learned in class, as well as to gather any extra equipment that you may want to bring along. The second part of the class will be hands-on, working with models whom you will pose and photograph. You will learn how to choose a good location and work with the lighting to create your shot, as well as pose and interact with your subject to get just the right look.
Although it will cover the modes and settings needed for this particular type of photography, this is not a comprehensive camera course. Please see our Basic Digital Camera workshop or Vancouver Digital Camera Workshop, to get a more complete understanding of all of your camera’s functions and settings. This Creative Kids Portraits class is ideal for moms who just want to learn how to get better pictures of their kids, or for the individual who is looking to become a children’s portrait photographer. It will be full of tips, tricks, and a whole lot of fun! Register now as this class will fill up quickly, and don’t forget to include this class as a gift for that special mom you know!
