Designing Christmas Cards in Photoshop (Easy Way)

Let me show you an easy way for designing Christmas cards in few steps using Photoshop Custom Shapes. It took only a few minutes to finish the job. 2- Use Photoshop Pen tool to draw the curve line for your template.

3- Go to Path Tab and right click on the Path, then convert it to Selection

Right Click on Path and select the Selection

4- Select Paint Bucket tool. Then Pick up the colour that you wish to use. Select Custom Shape. From dropdown menu select the Snowflake shape. There are several versions of Snowflake shapes. Pick the one that you like. You can use any other shapes as well. I selected the white colour for Fill with no Stroke. But you can pick up different colours according to your design.

6- Back to the document, start clicking on and dragging to create the shape. I prefer to create different sizes. By holding down the Shift Key you maintain the aspect ratio. Keep repeating this step to fill as many snowflakes as you like. 8- Select Type tool. The cursor changes when you bring it close to the Path. It means that you are going to type over the Path.
