Night Photography Means More Creativity
We all know that for photography we need light and there is not enough light at night to take good pictures. However, by learning night photography skills, you can be even more creative at night!
Is Night Time Photography Different than Day Time?
Night time photography has the same principles as day time photography. However, there are few extra skills the you should learn which separate night photography from other genres.
For instance, Shutter speed and Aperture control the exposure but they have more functions in night photography. Therefore, these extra functions make night images extremely artistic.
Finally, we are going to have our Night Photography Class on March 22nd.
Here is more information for you:
What are the differences?
One of the main differences is the amount of light. There isn’t enough light in night time to use a fast shutter speed, unless you use a high ISO. Therefore, using a higher ISO can result in grainy photographs. However, by slowing down the shutter speed, you can maintain the clarity and dynamic range of the photos.
Finally, another difference to discuss is about Light Painting Techniques. Due to longer exposure in Night Photography, a photographer can use Light Painting techniques to shed some light to part or parts of the scene and creates fabulous pictures.
Light Painting Techniques are part of the Night Photography Class. Here are some photographs from Previous students at Night time photography Class.
