Lightroom and Photoshop Hidden Tool for Detecting Dusty Sensor
Often, dust particles are either too small or get blended so well that we may not be able to see them. Lightroom and Photoshop “Visualize Spots” mask makes it easy to detect Dust Sensor effortlessly. “Visualize Spots” in Lightroom
In Lightroom, go to Develop Module, select the “Spot Removal” tool, or press the letter Q on the keyboard. Look at the bottom of the viewing area, and you will see the hidden feature “Visualize Spots” in Lightroom.
Check the box, and the photo changes to Negative in Black and White. By adjusting the slider, the dust spots will show up. Use the Healing Brush or Clone to remove the dust spots.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”20785″ img_size=”600×700″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Lightroom “Visualize Spots“ Mask”][vc_column_text]
“Visualize Spots” in Photoshop
In Photoshop, it is hidden even deeper; go figure! Open the photo in Photoshop and go to the top menu, then Filter. From the drop-down menu, select “Camera Raw Filter.”
Then select the Spot Removal brush (letter B on the keyboard). In the newly opened window on the bottom right-hand side panel, you can see the “Visualize Dust” activate it and adjust the slider to see the pesky dust spots and remove them.
