Why I love my job

Why I love my job!

One of the reasons why I love my job is because I truly enjoy teaching new techniques and skills in photography, Photoshop and Lightroom. And like every business which goes through ups and downs, the key to a successful business is the relationship between the business and its clients. When I receive feedback from my clients, I consider the feedback as a precious gift.

Christine Deol took some classes with me a couple of years ago and went on to start a successful photography business, with plans to expand her photography services in the near future. She sent me an email recently with news of her continuing success and confirmation that I had helped her in the same way that I was helped by many talented instructors when I was new to photography. Being successful in business is about much more than profits; it is also when clients can take what I taught them and turn the lessons into real achievements. To me it means that I, as an instructor, am successfully passing my tests!

Hi Ted,

How are you? I hope all is well.

I know we have not seen each other in awhile. If you remember, I just had my son and was expecting my daughter! Both are doing great. I thought I should catch up and let you know how my photography is going.

First off, I would like to say thank you. Your classes truly helped me get to where I want to be. As of last October I decided to take it further by opening my doors to family and friends. I have a small home studio that I have started to do newborn photography and just started to shoot Family Outdoor sessions (I never imagined I would be doing that). I have continued to educate myself with editing and some online courses but I’m always finding that you have given me knowledge that sets me ahead of the class. I will always appreciate the time and effort you took to help me learn from scratch.

Please take a look at some of my work, www.loveandchild.ca or @loveandchild.ca on Instagram. I still have a long way to go but am excited to show you what you have taught me.

Thank you again!!

Christine

This kind of feedback is the best gift that you can give to an instructor. I want to thank Christine for her kind words and to also thank all of you who have supported me all these years. You are the reason I love my job. Check for more testimonies here.

With love and gratitude,

Ted
