You will spend two days exploring this magnificent area with two master photographers, Ted Karlsalr and Brett Michaud, providing guidance and advice along the way.

Workshop Itinerary
This tour will include sessions both in the field and in the classroom.
Our itinerary will commence on October 18, 2024, in Ucluelet at precisely 6 p.m. We will meet and greet you will have a two-hour workshop to check your equipment and cover the photography and editing techniques we will use during the tour.
On October 19, we will begin our day early at 6 a.m. and drive to Tofino to capture the breathtaking sunrise over the Long Beach or Chesterman area, depending on the weather (around 7:10- 8:30), which will surely leave you amazed. Following that, we will drive to Pacific Rim National Park to photograph the Old G Cedar trees and the surrounding areas.
There will be a one-hour lunch break before we head to discover the wild beauty of Ucluelet beaches and trails.
Later in the day, we will head back to Ucluelet Big Beach to complete photographing the site and take sunset photos, which will end around 7 p.m.
After having a one-hour Dinner break, we will gather at the hotel lobby to discuss editing skills. The workshop will close around 9–10 p.m., providing plenty of time to rest and reflect on the day’s photographic opportunities.
On October 20, we will have a conclusion session at 8 a.m. for about an hour to recap our weekend and review the photographs taken.
Finally, the tour will close at 9 a.m.

The shorter days at this time of year mean we can go out for the best light of the day and even take in the Milky Way while still getting to bed at a reasonable hour.

Participants will be given the option to postpone or receive a refund if the Parks or the venue cannot host the workshop (such as in a lockdown situation). The cancellations could occur for a variety of reasons, such as a minimum number of participants is not met, a family emergency, unforeseen circumstances impacting the workshop, etc. In the event of cancellations that are under the control of Omnilargess Photography and Brett Michaud Photography, participants will receive a full refund for the workshop.
