Lightroom Shortcuts

Two More Lightroom Shortcuts

Lightroom Shortcuts or Hotkeys are great helps to speed up the post-processing time. Using Lightroom Shortcuts allows you to focus on your editing task and achieve the results quicker.

Previously, I discussed two functions of the Letter “F” as a shortcut in Lightroom, and the Letter “B” for using the Quick Collection. In this article, I introduce two more Lightroom Shortcuts.

Lightroom Shortcut Letter “L”

While working on Lightroom Library or Develop modules, pressing the letter “L” makes the on-screen light dim. And by pressing the letter “L” again, the on-screen light turns off. By pressing the letter “L,” you can cycle through these settings.

This feature lets you examine the images closely without being distracted with all the tabs and menu bars.

By pressing the Letter L, you can turn off the screen light.

Lightroom Shortcut Backslash Key “\”

By far, this is my favourite Lightroom Shortcut.

While working on pictures in the Develop module, pressing the Backslash Key “\” shows you the Before, and pressing again, it shows you the After.

This shortcut shines even more when you want to zoom and check part of the image closely.
