Lightroom Survey view

Last week, I talked about the Lightroom Compare view and received many questions about the Lightroom Survey View. For this #TedsEditingTip, I discuss the Lightroom Survey View.

Lightroom Survey View

Generally speaking, the Survey View works like the light table in the film photography era.

To compare a few images side by side closely, select images and then tap the letter “N” to activate the Survey View.

When to use Survey View

The Survey View has many aspects in common with the Compare view. However, the big difference is that in the Survey View, you can compare multiple images Vs the Compare View, that you can have two pictures.

While working in Survey View mode, you can Rate, Pick, or Reject photos quickly.
