Following or Breaking the Rules?
Unlike other rules, Photography Composition Rules are flexible, which means you can break the rules at any given time.
It is most useful to learn the rules first and then break them if needed.
Here is a list of most popular Composition Rules:
1- Rule Of Thirds: Off-Centre subject is more dynamic.
2- Speaking of Rule Of Thirds, Keep the horizon STRAIGHT and Off-Centre.
3- Adding “Guide Line” to the image enhances the depth.
4- Create a “Balance” in the picture by selecting the right elements.
5- Camera Orientation (Landscape or Portrait Mode) is a good start for applying the Balance.
And the list goes on and on, stay tuned for more tips.
