Don’t Just Take Pictures, Make Photographs!
Ansel Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was a landscape photographer and environmentalist known for his black-and-white images of the American West. He and Fred Archer developed Zone System, an exacting system to make photographs.
Here is one of his famous quote about artistic photography:
“You don’t take a photograph; you make it.”
How to Make Photographs
A camera takes pictures, but it cannot make photographs. Making photographs needs the artistic part of the human touch.
The new digital cameras can randomly create a fabulous photo. However, human intelligence makes those photographs outstanding, not new Technology!
Generally speaking, for taking a picture, Exposure is the main factor. Digital cameras are capable of nailing down the Exposure, thanks to advanced hardware and software designs.
However, when it comes to creativity and artistic part, even the most advanced cameras are useless!
Here is an example for you. Although the Exposure is correct in the below picture, it is just another photograph![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21753″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Camera Auto Exposure”][vc_single_image image=”22693″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Adding Creativity”][vc_column_text]Generally, a digital camera is a computer that runs on software and hardware. Therefore, as a photographer, you need to learn how to operate the camera. Consequently, you need to learn how to control the camera settings for optimum image quality (remember, a camera does not have a brain!). Here is good news for you; Omnilargess Photography Class offers many exciting photography courses for all levels.
The Exposure Photography Class is a one-day photography workshop. In this workshop, participants learn how to operate their cameras in Semi-Automatic modes, which provides photographers with more controls.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
