CHANGE COLOURS IN PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop is the most powerful image editing software. It can be daunting for some photographers at first glance.

1 MINUTE PHOTOSHOP TIP

But it is not that difficult to learn Photoshop. Here is an example of an easy way to change the background colour while maintaining its texture.

1- Open an image in Photoshop, click on the “SUBJECT SELECTION” tool. Then click on the “SELECT OBJECT” button.

2- Photoshop automatically selects the subject. Then go to the “LAYER” panel and click on the “NEW FILL OR ADJUSTMENT LAYER.”

3- Select a colour to cover the selected area. At this point, your subject is covered in paint.

4- Then, click on the Mask Layer and then in the Property Panel, click the INVERT button.

5- Next, go to LAYER BLEND, and select COLOR from the dropdown menu. It changes the background colour while maintaining the pattern and texture.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/HEyhnx5k4VU” title=”Changing Colours in Photoshop”][vc_column_text]That is all there is to it. Now you can change the background of images to colours of your choice! Give it a try and let me know.
