Showcasing Photographs for Business Tips
Previously, I discussed the importance of finding your niche in photography and get education accordingly. Now it is time to get to Showcasing Photographs for Business. There are many different means for showcasing photographs; however, each photography genre and business needs a different approach. In this article, I am going to discuss what tools are available for photographers to promote and showcase their business.
Firstly, education and learning photography from experts is very crucial; however, not all workshops and mentors are the same. You need to be very careful when it comes to choosing your instructor. Therefore, the vital step for starting a photography business is choosing the right education. Let me tell you another story:
Maria Killam is a well-known interior designer in Canada and the USA. She knows the importance of showcasing her designs, so Maria built an excellent website. However, she had problems in creating amazing photos that could show off her works.
Despite having an excellent website, she was not happy with images. Maria is an artist; so, she knows how to set up and compose the scene. Although she was using a DSLR camera, and she had taken many classes with other instructors, the pictures were not bright and eye-catching. The problem was camera techniques. Then she took the Photography Boot Camp class. Here is Maria’s testimony about the Boot Camp Program:

To make a long story short, Maria is now satisfied with the images, and whenever she has a question, she knows who to contact!
Back to our topic about showcasing photographs for business, there are many options available, but I am going to discuss just the popular ones here.
Consider your website as your office or store. Customers should like the look and ease of use of your website. Therefore, not only the look of the site is essential; its usability is even more crucial.
Many sites let you use their templates and design your website, and they are perfect to start. Squarespace is one of them that I suggest if you want to build your site.
However, I strongly recommend using a professional website designer to set up your site. A professional website designer knows how to make the site user-friendly and easy to navigate. After all, you want to make your office or store easily accessible.
Speaking of a professional web designer, I highly recommend Triple I Web Solution. Dan and Nikki are very knowledgeable and honest.

Social Media Presence
It is somehow a little different from the website design. Generally speaking, it is like the “Word of Mouth” promotion. As an artist and a business owner, you need to expand your network. So, Social Media, such as Twitter or Facebook, works the best. You may need to take some lessons on marketing to use these platforms correctly. There are many online courses that some of them are even free.
I strongly suggest learning the SEO (Search Engine Optimizer) to use on your website and social media posts.
