Spider Web Photography Tip

Morning Dew and Spider Web Photography

Spider webs are beautiful; the symmetrical shapes and geometry aspects are mesmerizing. However, when it comes to spider web photographs, it is not that easy. The thin transparent strings are almost invisible. After all, they are the main purposes of the spider web, being invisible. These features make taking good pictures of an amazing spider web is very challenging.

When the sun rays are still directional and morning dews are fresh, early morning makes the best time and condition to take fantastic Spider Web images.

Spider Web Photography Tip

  • Use your creativity to choose an excellent background.
  • Always use the backlit condition to showcase the web.
  • Keep the camera stable by using a tripod.
  • If a tripod is not available, use faster shutter speed to avoid camera shake.
  • A Macro lens is an asset, but not necessary. Make the best of the lens that you have.¬†
