1 MINUTE LIGHTROOM TIP
Lightroom New Mask Tool
Lightroom has received many new upgrades, and the Lightroom new Mask features many significant updates.
In the older version of Lightroom, you needed to use the Brush tool to select areas of images to apply local adjustments. The Lightroom new Mask makes life much easier.
In this video, I use only the “SELECT SKY” tool for editing the entire photo.
1- Open a photo in Develop module, and apply all the Global adjustments.
2- Open the Mask Tool and click on “SELECT SKY.” Lightroom’s AI will select the sky and represents it in a red colour overlay.
3- Start editing the sky and make all the enhancements.
4- Click on the “CREATE NEW MASK” button, then click on the “SELECT SKY” again.
5- Hover over the sidebar, and click on the “INVERT” box.
6- Start adjusting for the foreground.
