A Portrait Photography Tip: Do Not Break the Face Line
There are many fine lines for successful portraitures: how to position the body, arms and legs, eyes, mouth, etc. One of them is about the nose and the face line.
Don’t Let the Nose Breaks the Face Line!
It is one of the most advanced tips for creating fine art portraits.
While taking portraits, pay attention to the model’s nose, especially when taking profile images.
If the nose breaks the face line, it looks longer! And no one likes a long nose!
However, keeping the nose line within the face and cheek border makes it looks smaller and more pleasing.
In these sample photos, you notice that a little shift of the model’s head dramatically affects the look of her nose.
