Winter Photography Tips
There are a few tips that make winter photography a bit more exciting.
First and utmost is the weather. Not only should you dress properly for the weather, but you also need to protect your camera from extreme cold and temperature changes.
1- Protecting the Camera Battery
The cold temperature slows down the chemical reactions and drains the battery faster. I recommend having at least two batteries, and while using one, keep the other one in your jacket near your body to keep the battery warm. If you have only one battery, take it out of your camera when you don’t take photos, and store it in your pocket to keep it warm.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”19879″ img_size=”600×400″ title=”Winter Photography Tip”][vc_column_text]
2- Protecting Your Camera
When using the camera in freezing weather, please DO NOT take it to a warm place immediately to avoid condensation. Slowly introduce your camera to a warmer temperature and eventually take it to room temperature.
