A Night at Langley Camera Club
I was the speaker at Langley Camera Club on Wednesday, November 27th. It was a fabulous night, and I met many awesome people there.
First of all, I want to thank the club executive and all the participants for having me over. There was a warm reception. Although the weather was rather cold, the hospitality of Langley Camera Club warmed up the room.
My speech was about Lightroom Local Adjustment Tools and the new Range Mask. The topic brought out a few new techniques and created so many enthusiastic questions. Lightroom Local Adjustment Tools
Many photographers already know about the Lightroom Local Adjustment Tools. However, few of you may know about the new Range Mask tool in Lightroom Classic.
As you already know, by using the Local Adjustment tools, you can apply the adjustments into a specific area of the frame. Hence the affected regions show the edit, not the whole image. However, many photographers may not be aware of the new Range Mask tool. The Range Mask tool allows us to mask the adjustments to the specific part of the area, such as filtering by the Brightness (Luminance) or merely a particular colour. I will discuss these tools in future articles. Stay tuned or register for Lightroom Training Program. The next Lightroom Classic Training Program starts on November 4th, 2020. It is a three-part workshop and covers photo management and post-processing in the new Lightroom Classic.
