Lightroom New Update

Lightroom New Update and Features

Adobe recently updated the new Lightroom to Lightroom 10. These are my favourite Lightroom New Features.

Naming the Lightroom Catalog

The new Lightroom update allows you to name the catalogue. This feature helps you to keep track of different versions of the software.

Dynamic Zoom

Lightroom added a new Zoom slider to the Library and the Develop Modules, which makes zooming in and out effortlessly.

The new update added a “Box Zoom” feature as well. By holding down the Command/Control key, you can drag a box around a specific part of the image and zoom into that area.

By far, this is one of my favourites.

Color Grading Replaced Split Tone

We all are familiar with the old Split Tone in Lightroom that you can apply different colour casts to shadows and highlights. Adobe changed the look of this adjustment and added a Mid Tone slider as well. The new Color Grading is much more accurate and fun to play.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”25241″ img_size=”600×600″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Lightroom New Update; Color Grading”][vc_column_text]

GPU Enhancement

New Lightroom update uses the GPU power to enhance the local adjustments (Brush, Gradient and Radial Filters) faster and smoother.

Canon Life View

Adobe added the “Live View” in tethering for Canon cameras in this update. By far, this is the most asked feature by photographers who shoot tether. For now, this option works for Canon cameras, and the new updates will add more.   [/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”25237″ img_size=”600×600″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Lightroom New Update; Canon Live View”][vc_column_text]
