Digital Camera Cleaning
Your camera and lenses can easily get covered in dirt and sand during the summer, so there’s no better time than now to give them a clean.
Removing dirt or grit with a brush or air blower is vital when cleaning delicate photographic gear.
It will help to prevent dirt from getting trapped in the cleaning cloth, which can potentially scratch the surface that you’re trying to get clean. [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Clean the Camera
Compressed gas aerosols need to be used with care. Unless held perfectly upright, the spray can contain propellant, which can cause damage, and the high pressures can be challenging to control. Try a large-size blower or a soft brush instead.
A good size Blower is an essential tool for digital camera maintenance.
There are several different types of lens brushes on the market. Choose a high-quality one for digital camera cleaning.
With a lens attached to avoid getting dust inside the camera, start by removing any dust or dirt from the outside of the camera and lens using a soft brush or blower. Pay attention to the more inaccessible areas like memory card slots, where dirt is likely to accumulate.
And for the final touch, wipe the camera body with a soft moist cloth. Do not use any cleaning liquid material, as it can cause damage to the rubber or plastic parts of the camera body.
Have you been on the beach or in a dusty location?
Use a vacuum cleaner and vacuum inside the camera bag to get rid of dust and sand.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”16218″ img_size=”500×400″ title=”Camera cleaning Kit”][vc_column_text]
