Camera’s Essential Accessories: ND Filters

In this series of posts, I will cover a few inexpensive yet vital add-ons for better photography. In this article, I look into ND Filters.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

ND FILTERS

Generally speaking, ND filters are just like Sunglasses for your lens! They reduce light intensity and allow you to shoot at a slower shutter speed or wider aperture.

The light was too bright in the first image, and I couldn’t slow down the shutter speed enough.

By using an ND filter, I was able to reduce the shutter speed to 5 seconds. Here is a fabulous photo of a waterfall! Thanks to the humble ND filter.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”27055″ img_size=”480×600″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”No ND Filters”][vc_single_image image=”27054″ img_size=”480×600″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”ND Filters”][vc_column_text]
