Wednesday Photography Tips: PERFECT CAMERA SETTING

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

What is a Perfect Camera Setting?

There is no one perfect camera setting. However, there are a few handy tips that you can use to improve the images.

.

I cover these guidelines on the #WednesdayPhotographyTips series.

.

Perfect Camera Setting: Shutter Speed

Photographers use the shutter speed for creating different effects, such as freezing action or making moving elements blurry. Here are a few guidelines:

1- Use a fast shutter speed to freeze moving subjects.

2- Using slow shutter speed allows you to blur out motions.

3- The minimum shutter speed for handheld shooting depends on the lens focal length.

For instance, if you shoot with a 200mm telephoto lens, to avoid camera shake, the minimum shutter speed should be 1/200sec.

.

4- Typically, shooting slower than 1/30, you need a tripod.

.

5- To avoid a moving subject blurry, you need to consider its speed.

For example, if your model strolls, shutter speed 1/90 will do the job. But if the model is running, you need to use 1/500 or faster to avoid blurry images.

.

Using a perfect shutter speed allows you to create excellent pictures.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/aVvhHIff9Ts” title=”Perfect Camera Setting?”][vc_column_text]
