New Outdoor Photography class at Mill Lake Park
New Beginner Workshop with Omnilargess Photography Class
Have you ever walked through a beautiful park, camera in hand, and wished you could capture what you saw exactly how you felt it? You’re not alone. Photography is about more than just pointing and clicking—it’s about telling a story with light, shadow, and timing. And this summer, you can learn how to do exactly that.
We’re excited to announce our newest Beginner Outdoor Photography Workshop, set in the heart of Abbotsford at the stunning Mill Lake Park. This hands-on workshop is your opportunity to explore photography in the best classroom of all—nature itself.
Why Mill Lake Park?
Mill Lake offers the perfect mix of scenery to inspire creativity: calm water reflections, towering trees, winding trails, and active wildlife. Whether you’re capturing birds in flight, light on the water, or a quiet moment on a bench-lined path, this park is rich with opportunities to practice the art of seeing.
What You’ll Learn
This workshop is designed for beginners who want to move beyond Auto mode and start taking control of their camera. During this four-hour experience, you’ll learn how to:
- Use aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to master exposure
- Choose camera settings for different lighting conditions
- Compose photographs that tell a story
- Work with natural light to enhance your subject
We’ll begin with a one-hour group lesson where you’ll gain essential skills in a clear, easy-to-follow format. Then we’ll head into the park for three hours of guided practice—where the real magic happens.
