This is an info packed, hands-on photo editing digital workflow class using Adobe Photoshop CC, CS, or Elements for professional and enthusiast photographers.

Digital photography is more than just capturing images in the camera; it is also about editing, enhancing and show casing them on websites such as Flickr, slideshows, iPad /iPhone, Tablets, or in print such as photo books or framed fine art prints.

Pre-requisite:

Must have basic computer skills, either Mac or PC. Students are required to bring their own laptops already installed with Adobe Photoshop CC, CS, or Elements. (Trial version of Photoshop is available for download for PC and Mac from the internet. (Check system requirements first).

10:30-11:30 AM

Overview, Customizing Panels, Resizing and cropping, Save vs Save as, Jpeg vs PSD vs PNG

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Shape Tool, Custom Shapes, Shapes in Layers, Merging Shapes to create custom page, Type Tool hidden features, Type Tool in Layers and Blending

1:00-2:00 PM

Layers, Adjustment Layers, Tweaking Layers, Clone tool in Layers, Selection Tool, Quick Selection and Magic Wand Fine tweaking

2:00-3:00 PM

All about Masking, Tweaking the mask, Invert the Mask, Clip Mask, Selective Colour Mask

3:30-5:30 PM

All about Hands on, Create and edit your web page or album cover using your creativity and Photoshop tools, Local adjustments, removing/adding elements to the image using Refine Edges, Finalize the output for print or web. Plus time for questions and answers with your instructor

What to bring:

All participants must have and bring to the sessions a notebook computer with Adobe Photoshop installed and working. Omnilargess cannot provide computer support. If you are having any difficulties with your computer or the installation of software, please contact your local computer support before the workshop.
