Easy Lightning Photography Tip

Lightning Photography sounds very difficult. Brett Michaud shared a lightning photography tip, and it is straightforward to follow. [/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”27403″ img_size=”600×400″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Lightning Photography Tip”][vc_column_text]

Brett Lightning Photography Tip

Taking pictures of storms is all about technique and a whole lot of luck.

There are many fancy gadgets out there designed to catch lightning strikes, but they really aren’t necessary if you understand how to use the interval timer that many new cameras have built-in.

I captured this image by setting the camera up, starting an interval timer to take 150 consecutive shots of 3 seconds each and then hoping for the best.

Using a wide focal length of 24mm increases your chances of capturing a strike on the horizon. And, of course, safety is of utmost priority! [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
