How to Create Personalized Lightroom Adaptive Presets in Lightroom Classic
Previously, I looked into Lightroom Adaptive Presets. Although these presets are helpful, they may only fit some of our needs. In this article, I show you how to create your Personalized Lightroom Adaptive Presets.

These steps are the global adjustments. Then, select the Mask tool. In this step, you need to use the AI-based masks (Select Sky, Select Subject, or Select Background.)
Personalized Lightroom Adaptive Presets Step By Step:
In the Develop module, make basic adjustments to your image. It includes adjustments to exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks. Experiment until you find a balance that suits your style and enhances the overall appeal of your photo.
Next, fine-tune your photo by adjusting the Texture, Clarity and Dehaze sliders.
These steps are the global adjustments. Then, select the Mask tool. In this step, you need to use the AI-based masks (Select Sky, Select Subject, or Select Background.)

Next, fix whatever you need to change or adjust till you are satisfied with the result.
Close the Mask tab, go to the Presets tab on the left panel, click the “+” icon, and select “Create Preset…”

In the next window, choose a meaningful name for your preset, select all the adjustments you want to record, Make sure to choose the”Masking” option, and then click Create.

Congratulations! You’ve just crafted your very own personalized adaptive preset in Lightroom. This powerful tool will save you time and consistently elevate the quality of your edits.
