BATTERY HEALTH

Maintain Camera’s Battery Health.

Digital Cameras use Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries, and they are quite expensive! Camera Batteries, like all other rechargeable batteries, need minimal maintenance. This article looks into maintaining the camera’s battery health and making them work longer.

.

What is Battery Health?

All rechargeable batteries depreciate as they age. It means that the older battery cannot hold the charge long enough. Digital cameras’ batteries have the same issue; as they age, they lose the power faster. Therefore, you need to change the old battery with a new one.

However, there are a few things that you can do to expand the battery health:

  • Make sure that you fully charge the battery. All rechargeable batteries ship out with a little charge. When you get your new battery, fully charge it first.
  • By Fully charging the battery, you make the chemicals inside the battery agitated and refreshed.
  • It is a good idea to use the battery once a year till it completely drains and then fully charge it back.

I have some old rechargeable batteries, and by using these steps, I maintain the batteries health and keep using them.

Therefore, it used the ambient light source, Fluorescent, for White Balance.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
