Landscape Photography Quick Tips
It is summertime, and we all want to capture the beauty of nature. These Landscape Photography Quick tips help you make the best possible pictures.
Expanded Focusing Range
Generally speaking, In Landscape Photography, we want to keep everything in the frame in focus. Therefore, photographers use higher f-stop to increase the Depth of Field to its maximum.
The best Aperture range for Landscape photography is f11 to f16, as it maintains an extended Depth of Fields, and expand the focusing range.
Stabilizing the Shot
While using higher f-stop, the camera may need slower Shutter Speed. Therefore, using a tripod reduces the chance of a “Camera Shake.” If a tripod is not available, you need to use faster shutter speed. Try to stay above 1/60 sec. The 1/60 is a safe Shutter Speed to avoid the camera shake. However, if you use a telephoto lens, you need to shoot in even faster Shutter Speed.
Using Auto ISO
Auto ISO is a peace of mind for new photographers. Auto ISO helps you maintain correct exposure all the time if you shoot semi-automatic modes (A/AV, S/TV).
Auto White Balance Rocks!
If you shoot in JPG format, Auto-White Balance provides the best colours in the image. However, if you shoot in RAW format, I found out that shooting in Daylight or Direct Sun Light provides a better colour range for post-processing.
